Virgin Trains Incrediball

The Virgin Trains Incrediball is an awards dinner dance for all the elite staff of the whole of the Virgin Trains company, from the regional management and head office, to the people working on the trains and at the stations. It’s a wonderful evening – a very glitzy and glamorous affair with some very beautiful and exotic outfits on the red carpet.

The beautiful and newly refurbished Principal Hotel in Manchester was the setting for this corporate event. There was a drinks reception to start the evening off followed by an sumptuous meal and then the award ceremony itself. Sway performed with their 10 piece band, one of the most popular choices. Singers were the amazing TJ Davis, Jai Amore and Alice Powell. The main band was David Brooks, Nicky Twister Owen, Richard Cole and Stuart Anning; and then the brass section was Jackson Mathod, Courtney Brown and Russell Henderson.

Sway played live stings (short bursts of music) for all the speakers, awarders and award winners as they walked on. Some companies will have recorded music playing from a laptop but not Virgin Trains! They do things with complete style…

After the award ceremony, Sway performed a blistering party set and the dance floor was full from the first to the last song. We were followed by a performance from the West End cast of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.

As ever, an amazing night was had by all. Sway look forward to working with Virgin again very soon.

If you have a corporate event and are looking for entertainment, then please get in touch. We work throughout the UK as well as abroad, entertaining at weddings, festivals, parties and corporate events. Having already played at some extraordinary locations, we would love to try out some more!

Here are just a few (of which there were many!) photographs from the evening. To be honest we could have posted so many more, but here are just a taster selection from the evening. Boy did those guys from Priscilla know how to perform! Photograph credit goes to Kit Fanner.
